You can't solve racism with racism...

Some locals here in Tennessee were discussing changing the name of a mountain here that was named by the evil white man who took the land from the peaceful native Americans. This was my response to a nice man who was trying to make the world a better place and thought solving racism is the answer…
Hello friend. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The Cherokee, English, French, and Spanish… all were “colonialists” or expansionists.
The Cherokee took land from the other native Americans before them.
The Cherokee also held nearly 600 African slaves. They have also enslaved other tribes before that.
All nations are guilty of expansionism where they took land from others.
It’s a sad fact of life that as people and countries expand they see the need to consume other countries.
I believe in evil. I believe man is corrupt. That’s why they won’t live together peacefully.
I believe Jesus Christ came to earth to save mankind from evil. The problem… Mankind killed Jesus Christ because he was purely good. Thankfully, Jesus died as a living sacrifice for mankind while they were still evil.
(When I say “mankind” that includes women)
The people who decide to believe in Jesus Christ as a Savior and Son of God then set out to convert human beings to turn away from evil and embrace love. That is the pure message of the Gospels in the Christian bible.
Sincere Christians who follow the beliefs of Jesus Christ have been the ONLY good in the world that has been setting about solving the problem of evil in human beings.
America is exceptional because Christians had a voice in the creation of this government. Christians were, by far, who was responsible for the creation of the United States. There were a small minority of people who were not Christian but, none the less, recognized the goodness of Christianity as a means to create a government.
The Christians who held power eventually freed the slaves and tried hard to make things right with the native Americans.
America is a constitutional Republic (not a democracy) and fought against colonialism and tyranny to become a country.
America is not perfect but today it is a country where both native Americans, and African slaves, and, yes… (Irish slaves who were the first slaves to be brought to North America by the colonialists) are all FREE.
Every race has been enslaved and yet they have all been freed under the United States. The United States is a government by the people and for the people.
It’s own Constitution is what is used to bring justice to the oppressed peoples no matter what their race or gender.
So, sure, Change the name of the mountain but trying to solve racism and expansionism is impossible without the love of Jesus Christ who has been going throughout mankind’s history reconciling mankind to God for it’s evil.
Jesus Christ is the only true “cure” for mankind’s evil.
The problem is not changing the name of the mountain. The problem is changing the name of the mountain to solve racism. That will only fuel a deep seated evil that justifies using whatever means necessary to bring justice to white men.
That will fuel another terrible war. Because that war against white men would be unjustified.
White peoples didn’t ‘corner the market’ on expansionism and slavery.
Be VERY careful. It is a dangerous business to use racism to solve our problems.
White peoples are not the problem. Don’t try to use racism to end racism which only feeds racism. Solve evil by accepting Jesus Christ, of the pure Gospel’s, in the Holy Bible. That is mankind’s only chance for making the world a better place. Anything else is an exercise in futility.
Thank you my friend. God bless you. ❤️✝️
