How I survive...

How do I manage to survive?🤕

I find that the Christian worldview serves me well.

It says that we are all capable of hurting each other terribly. We are born into a world where we all have the choice to choose evil to find an edge.

Although… The ones who have sincerely asked Jesus Christ to be Lord of their lives AND they submit to him leading them daily… They are the ones that operate in reality.

Taking responsibility by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior AND daily submitting to Him is the ONLY way to live in reality.

Otherwise, if you live by your own understanding, devoid of Jesus Christ, you will find crushing failure and disappointment in the end.

Humankind has an amazing capacity to self-deceive and live in their own concocted fantasies.

Everyone who refuses to live on their knees before the one true savior, Jesus Christ, is heading for ignorance and emptiness.

Mankind’s capacity to self-deceive is inescapable without the intervention of Jesus Christ.

Knowing these things about myself, I find peace. I understand that I don’t have what it takes to become enlightened as the world believes.

So… I live in my little world, limited, and many times frustrated by those limitations. Yet, I am free from the expectation that I can somehow transcend my current situation and become something untouchable, free of tragedy, and safe from the inevitable death that I will face.

I resolve to be a simple man, created, limited, sometimes frustrated but free of the crushing weight of trying to be something I am not.

I reject the fantasies that promise to save me from the reality that I live in a world where humankind is being punished for rejecting Him.

I will serve my time on my knees, in humility, before the King of the Universe.

I hope to be a part of the solution by keeping my visions of grandeur in submission to the light and Love of Jesus Christ.

I must let go every day and let God shape me into a much better version of myself.

I am a created being that needs his creator to be truly effective in this punished world.

On the day that I suffer then die… I pray that I have built enough trust in Jesus Christ to suffer and die with dignity.

As a believer, I also trust that there is an afterlife in paradise.

I will be reunited with my creator, perfectly, as I was meant to be from the beginning of this world.

I, the created, will be reunited with my creator in a loving embrace that will have made all the sufferings of this world worthwhile and soon forgotten in paradise.

God created Hell for those that hate him. God does NOT send people to Hell. Hell is locked from the inside. Those in Hell chose a lie over love. They chose the fantasy over reality.

God is here, all around us, but we have a very difficult time seeing him because of our own schemes and desperate attempts to escape suffering.

God is good. I hope to be with God forever in eternity.

I am safe and secure in my salvation because I believe AND I submit to the fact that I need a Savior and cannot transcend this world by my own power.

Christ is Love. I choose love and reject the lie that I can save myself. I need Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed of this.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY path to true enlightenment.

Die unto self and surrender daily.

Choose peace over selfish-ambition and let God reveal to you the secrets of your special existence. You were made for more than the petty fantasies your mind can summon.

Jesus Christ is reality. Jesus Christ is freedom. May I dwell in his presence for eternity.
